The Merit Fitness 725T Treadmill is a folding treadmill that has consistently held the top place in the fitness treadmills category because it is a great way to get in shape without breaking the bank!
A great choice for both walkers and recreational runners, and priced below $400.00 (that’s of course as of this writing and only if you follow the link below — we do not guarantee that the price will remain the same, nor can we guarantee the prices elsewhere), the 725T offers a 1.25-horsepower continuous-duty motor, with a speed range of 1 to 10 miles per hour and an elevation range of 0 to 10 percent.
But that’s not all! It features a computer console that includes one center and two side LED windows that track your resistance level, speed, time and distance, along with 5 quick keys and 5 quick interval keys for instant adjustments. Other features include 2 cup holders, a thumb pulse heart rate monitor, a fold-up frame, and 4 pre-set programs: manual, intervals, rolling hills, and weight loss.
Treadmill Features:
Motor: 1.25 continuous horsepower, 2.25 total horsepower
Speed range: 1 to 10 mph
Elevation range: 0% to 10%
Running area: 18″ x 45″
Running deck: 15 mm Cushion system:
AeroSoft Belt thickness: 1.3 mm
Roller size: 42 mm
Weight capacity: 250 lbs
Warranties: Lifetime on the frame, 2 years on the motor, 90 days on parts and labor
What we love about this treadmill:
- it’s a folding treadmill so it can be stored or stowed easily
- very reasonably priced
- great value for the money because it has all the necessary features — and more (not just one, but two cup holders, too)!

Merit 725T
The product arrived but the shipping company gave an incorrect phone number to the truck driver and the item arrived over a week later than expected.

Easy to set up and use
I’ve had no problem setting this up; the only help I needed was for someone to hold the console in place while I screwed it in (I was afraid I’d drop it and break it).

great treadmill
Spent quite a bit of time researching treadmills as there are so many models to chose from. But my budget was under $500 and this one appeared to have good reviews.

So far so good
I have had the treadmill for about 2 months now and it’s working just fine. There is an error in the manual about the assembling instructions where they show the bag of screws #1…

Great Treadmill, Great Price
We received this treadmill about one month ago, and have used it nearly every day since then for light jogging (6-7 mph).

great product
Works great and can fold. It was exactly what I was looking for. I would give it 5 stars, but I had it only for about a month.
